QA Automation

This role requires a variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Ability to analyze and translate functional requirements into QA activities for large business initiatives.
Experience creating and executing test cases, preparing test data and test user accounts, and providing accurate estimates for testing effort.
Knowledge of web development frameworks like WebdriverIO, and skill in recognizing patterns and following best practices to create re-usable UI and API test scripts.
Efficiency in all aspects of verification, including integration, functional, and regression testing.
Attention to detail and adeptness at recording defects, steps to reproduce, and cross-checking against other environments.
Management of defect reports, tracking and providing informative updates.
Participation in production validation and support as needed.Application of Agile Methodologies to Quality Assurance Automation

Basic qualifications include:
3+ years of hands-on experience with industry standard testing, automation, and quality assurance, methodologies and processes, including collaboration with other test developers to create UI automation scripts using at least one of: Java / Selenium Web Driver, JavaScript / WebdriverIO, and Ruby / Cucumber
1+ years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
Reviewing daily test automation results from a job runner like Jenkins or ADO Pipelines and adjusting test scripts for better reliability
Automating API validation using tools like Rest Assured, Postman or Ready API
Testing DB2 Mainframe Database transactions
Managing evolution of tests, defects, and source code with tools like Azure Dev Ops or Github.
