Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and translate functional requirements to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives. Automate these test cases and execute on regular basis Participate in assigned Scrum ceremonies. Understand QA scope, provide QA estimates and plan the testPerform all aspects of verification, including integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing. Develop and implement well-defined test plans. Manage defect tracking and provide informative updates as requested. Participate in production validation and support as needed. Knowledge of web development framework like WebdriverIO. Skilled in recognizing patterns and creating re-usable scripts. Unerstand existing Automation Framework and support automation testing needs for UI and API Automation. Good communication skills and coordinate with onsite members as needed. Participate in production validation and support as needed. Follow defect management process and support defects triaging Daily status reporting in stand ups and to leadership during Functional Testing or Regression Testing and ensure the release defects are tracked to closure. Risks/Issues within team are communicated proactively to Immediate Manager and assist in tracking them to closure. Basic Qualifications: Minimum bachelors degree in computers science or similar. 3+ years of hands-on experience with industry standard testing/development, quality assurance methodologies, verification, and validation processes. 3 years of hands-on experience in building automation scripts using Selenium Web Driver, Java, WebdriverIO, JavaScript, Ruby Cucumber for UI Automati1+ years of handson experience in the following areas: Using Jenkins for maintaining the automation runs on daily basis. API Automation using Rest Assured or Postman or Ready API or any other API Automation tool Working experience Agile Methodology as Quality Assurance Automation Developer Analyst DB2 Mainframe Database testing Azure Dev Ops for Test Management, Defect Management, Automation repository usage or any other similar test management tool.
