**Role: GCP Solutions Architect**

Number of open positions: 1

Location: Gurgaon

**Must-Have**:

- ** 8+ years of experience in Software and IT industry**
- 4 + years of relevant work experience in GCP cloud data engineering
- Hands on in one of the programming languages like Python / scala/java
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on GCP.
- Experience with building and maintaining data engineering pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in the implementation of GCP solutions.
- Good track record in system architecture and design
- Good aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate.
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions align with best practices and industry standards.
- Experience working in Agile Methodology
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effective solutions for clients.
- Create comprehensive architecture and design documentation for solutions implemented on GCP.
- ** Should be comfortable working in a Hybrid model from the Gurgaon office of the client.**

**Nice to Have**:

- Any prior experience in working with Financial and Banking Domain
- Any prior experience in working on a migration project.
- Working experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Any Professional level GCP Certification.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Data proc, Data Flow, GCS and others.
- Strong architectural and design skills, with the ability to create scalable and resilient solutions on GCP.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with the ability to implement and enforce security controls.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business terms.
- Drive and motivate the team to be agile and follow agile methodology.
- Guide the team technically and give the team direction on how to plan, design, implement, and deliver the projects.
- Involve the team during the brainstorming sessions as appropriate.
- Work with the clients and counterparts (in the US) to drive the project execution.
- Keep all the stakeholders updated about the project status/risks/issues if there are any.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding development teams and providing technical direction.
- Should be comfortable working in a Hybrid model from the **Gurgaon **office of the client.

**Key Skills**: Spark, Scala or Python or Java, Unix shell scripting, SQL, System Design, GCP Architecture.

**Education**:BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute.
