**Job description**

**Roles & responsibilities**

The purpose of the role is to lead the Finance and Accounting function of TGY for Plants and Corporate by bringing a strong financial perspective to strategic and operational business decisions. The role incumbent shall be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining adequate financial planning, control tools and systems to facilitate and support Management decisions and identify and mitigate risks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Formulate Business & financial plan and budgets in alignment of business objectives
- Member of the Senior Management Team and taking part in all Strategic Decision
- Institutionalize the system for cash and fund management in the company
- Institutionalize financial risk assessment mechanisms and formulate financial risk policy
- Ensuring best practices of audit management and governance standard around audit & reporting.
- Formulate accounting policies and internal controls required to ensure cost reduction by monitoring and controlling the variance to the budgeted cost Controlling Cost of Production vis
- vis Business plan, Rolling plan, highlighting the major variances on weekly, monthly basis
- Exercising strong financial control to optimise Inventory liquidation, reducing ageing stocks, & minimising rejections.
- Compiling & analyzing MIS on expense sheets & analysis of Variances and profitability position.
- Ensuring that all key business drivers are correctly captured and all income/expenses at the end of the month are accounted for properly viz. bills, revenue expenditure, other expenses and provision
- Minimize the funding cost
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS & reporting of statutory, financial and management reports to the CEO, directors & investors
- Vendor management-On time payment, Periodical Reconciliation to avoid future contingencies
- Ensure optimal utilization of SAP in the Company
- Head the operational decision making and strategic planning for Procurement function.
- Identify and correct critical problems; strengthen and improve procurement processes and systems lead time reduction, rejection, MOQ reduction etc
- Supplier collaboration on process efficiency, cost improvement, lead time reduction etc
- Build and develop a highly skilled team to provide adequate business results to the company

**Experience required**
- Post qualification experience in Finance & Accounting with leading Manufacturing / organisation in India, with B2B & B2C business structure.
- Current assignment as the HOD for 5 years with a leading Manufacturing organisation in India
- Led the F&A function ,including General Accounting, Finalisation of Balance Sheets, Direct and Indirect Tax, Capital Budgeting
- Reviewed, revised and spearheaded the Implementation of Policies & Procedures
- Successfully implemented the professional Budgeting, Planning & Control culture within the group.
- Enhanced and regularized the periodical Management Reporting System.
- Handled Project Management, Financial reporting, Statutory compliances, Internal and External Audits.
- Worked in SAP Financial environment, worked on business software like SAP
- Experience of leading Commercial function along with CFO responsibility will be an added advantage
