**Profile Introduction**:
The Liquor Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment specializing in alcoholic beverages. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, managing inventory, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws and store policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, assisting with product selections, and offering knowledgeable recommendations on alcoholic beverages. Address customer inquiries and handle complaints to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and manage cash and credit card payments. Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized. Assist with receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory checks. Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management.
- Ensure adherence to local and state liquor laws and regulations, including verifying customers’ age to ensure they are of legal drinking age. Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions as required by law.
- Keep the store environment clean and organized, including shelves, displays, and storage areas. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the premises.
- Stay informed about the products offered, including new arrivals, promotions, and popular items, to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.

**Profile Requirements**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, ideally in the liquor or beverage industry.
- Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages, including wines, spirits, and beers, is beneficial. Understanding local and state liquor laws and regulations is crucial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and address their needs. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service, including offering recommendations and handling complaints professionally.
- Knowledge of age verification processes and adherence to legal requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry products, including cases of liquor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
