**Role Purpose**

**Main Responsibilities**
- ** Data Management & Governance** - Own the integrity, quality, and security of data supporting the power dispatch model, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and accessible to relevant teams.
- ** Collaboration with Stakeholders** - Work closely with energy analysts, engineers, and decision-makers to understand data requirements and ensure the model’s data meets operational needs.
- ** Technology Integration** - Leverage tools like Snowflake or similar data warehousing technologies to streamline data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets.
- ** Data Quality Assurance** - Implement processes and checks to validate and maintain high data quality across various sources, enabling reliable power dispatch decisions.
- ** Reporting & Insights** - Provide meaningful insights and data-driven recommendations to improve the dispatch model’s efficiency, while ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- ** Team Building** - Lead and build a data analyst team to support the power dispatch model, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

**Expectations**
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or similar).
- Strong experience in managing large datasets and data governance, ideally within the energy or utilities sector. Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or similar platforms is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve data issues.
- Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest data trends and tools in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with the power and energy sector, including experience in power dispatch models or energy systems, will be highly valued.
- Experience in SQL or Python is advantageous.
