This is a remote position.
A Product Owner, PO, is responsible for defining, evaluating, prioritizing the product road map by identifying the features and functionalities of a software Product. PO closely work with SCRUM team by review and priorities business requirements to ensure on time end to end product delivery. He is also help the team to groom and identify associated risk and opportunities with user stories.
We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Product Owner having good project management skills to work with our SCRUM team in order to deliver the quality software product.
Role and Responsibility
- Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
- Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science
- MBA with good understanding of IT
- 10+ years of proven experience in an analytics, systems development and Project Management capacity
- Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of software solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
