**Role Summary**:
As a Lab Technician in our Food Division, you will be a vital guardian of our commitment to quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of tests and analyses to ensure our raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products meet the highest standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring consumer trust.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Comprehensive Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality control testing on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished food products, meticulously comparing results against established quality standards and specifications.
- Advanced Analytical Techniques: Conduct a variety of microbiological and chemical analyses, including pathogen detection, nutritional analysis, shelf-life studies, and preservative content determination, to ensure food safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in Testing: Demonstrate expertise in testing of RM/PM/FG (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Finished Goods), contributing to a thorough understanding of the entire production process.
- Data Integrity & Documentation: Maintain impeccable records and documentation of all lab results, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and strict adherence to data integrity principles. Utilize LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for efficient data management and analysis. (Adjust if you have LIMS or are planning to)

Food Safety Program Support: Actively participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our robust food safety programs, including HACCP, FSMA, and other relevant certifications.
- Equipment Expertise: Operate, maintain, and calibrate a range of sophisticated laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and the reliability of analytical results. Participate in equipment validation and troubleshooting.
- Audit Readiness: Assist in preparation for and participation in internal and external audits, providing accurate documentation and proactive support to demonstrate full compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Ingredient Handling: Comfortably and safely handle both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food products, adhering to strict hygiene and cross-contamination prevention protocols.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving food safety and quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Safety Champion: Champion a culture of safety in the laboratory, adhering to all safety protocols, promoting a clean and organized workspace, and actively participating in safety training programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in QC Laboratory Handling within the food industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, including FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and Codex Alimentarius.
- Advanced proficiency in microbiological and chemical testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of laboratory equipment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in all aspects of laboratory work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present technical information.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, record-keeping, and reporting.

- Experience with ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, PCQI).
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
