Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assure that opening checklist is completed and that the bar is prepared for opening.
2. Make sure all required registers and checklists are completed and in order.
3. Observe customers as they approach the bar and assure they are greeted promptly and
properly and seated in a friendly manner.
4. Monitor, observe and ensure guests are satisfied with the drinks and service. Respond
promptly and courteously to any requests or problems.
5. Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
6. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the
restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
7. Assist in inventory procedures.
8. On occasion, sit in on interviews.
9. Assist in training.
10. Report any observed personnel or guest issues to the manager-on-duty.
11. Maintain and update list of needed supplies.
12. Assist in daily restaurant briefings.
13. Keep open communication and assure harmonious relations between all staff
14. Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
15. Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests’ experience
16. Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.
17. Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS.
18. Accept and process credit card guest payment.
19. Wash and sterilize glassware.
20. Prepare garnishes for drinks.21. Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient
drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
22. Present drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding
beverages.
23. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves
and storage areas.
24. Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
25. Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues in the maintenance
complaint register (Refer Annexure-1 ‘Maintenance Complaint Register’) and to
asst.restaurant manager.
26. Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
27. Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
28. Attend all scheduled team member meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
29. Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not I00% satisfied with their experience
30. Up sell drink specials and food items as directed by management.
31. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the
restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager.
32. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents,
injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and
certifications.
33. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain
confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
34. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using
appropriate etiquette.
35. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach
common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other team
members.
36. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
37. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the managers.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
