**About the Role**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer/ Purchaser to join our dynamic team. This role oversees the entire procurement process of marine-related products and services, for a seamless supply chain, ensuring high standards of quality and establishing strategies to optimize cost, supply security and service in the short and long term.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, reliability, environmental impact, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility
- Negotiate and execute contracts of various supplies (provisions stores etc..) based on order requirements - Negotiate terms of purchase, from price to quantities needed, delivery timelines and logistics to payment terms
- Monitor supplier performance
- Investigate and implement approved cost reduction opportunities. These initiatives would include consolidation of suppliers and competitive quotations for alternate suppliers and many more
- Responsible of overall contract management compliance process
- Responsible for Supply Pricing Lists and Vendor Pricing records in the database
- Determine potential clients for company profit/growth, review requisitions/ purchase orders and related documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with department procedures and requirements
- Monitor freight in costs and identify opportunities for cost reductions, along with timely communication of changes in prices
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging suppliers to ensure competitive and innovative procurement solutions
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet order deadlines, by coordinating with other departments
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Perform other tasks or jobs as need or required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, or a similar field from a well-known university
- 2-3 years of experience in export house purchasing in B2B structure
- Proven track record of developing and executing profitable contracts for company
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of market research, vendor recruiting & data analysis
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management
- Adaptability and excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple contracts with strong management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment.

**Location & Working hrs**:

- Permanent full-time role at our Gurgaon office
- Monday
- Saturday (Alternate Saturdays off)
- 10am-6pm (needs to be available even after working hrs as per urgency)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
