**Role Overview**:
The Pastry and Bakery Intern will support our production team in creating a wide variety of French pastries and baked goods. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates from culinary schools who are passionate about baking and want to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation of pastry and bakery items, including cakes, tarts, breads, and viennoiseries.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Support in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Help with basic kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and preparing ingredients.
- Assist in ensuring the quality and consistency of products.
- Contribute to innovation and development of new products under the guidance of the Head Chef.
- Follow safety and hygiene standards as per company policies.
**Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary program, specializing in baking and pastry arts.
- A passion for French baking and a keen interest in learning the craft.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility with work hours, including early mornings and weekends, as required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months
Pay: ₹3,000.00 per month
