Job Description**:ME Fixture Designer**

**Key requirements of the ME Fixture Design role include**:
**Project Description**
- Mechanical Fixture Designer for SMT/Module/FATP HWTE stations
- CM and build is in India
- Need on-site support the builds
- Fluent English in speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Proficient in MCAD tools for designing and evaluating 3D & 2D MCAD
- Experience with mechanical tolerance analysis, GD&T, mechanical fabrication methods and mechanical design of fixtures and mechanisms
- Experience with mechanical control systems is desirable
- Ability to travel to China, to collaborate with HWTE/design teams/CM and fixture vendors. Learn the design process and how to oss on the ground. Also on-site check the fixture assembly/OQC at vendors as needed

**Key responsibilities of the ME Fixture Designer role include**:
**Fixture Design and Development**
- Design and optimize test fixtures in partnership with the Fixture Design Lead and Station DRI to meet test coverage requirements
- Conduct and communicate DFM feedback between the CM, vendor and Fixture Design Lead
- Complete mechanical tolerance analysis using GD&T
- Hold design reviews for peer, safety and ergonomics feedback
- Coordinate logistics for fixture vendors, CM, and others, when applicable
- (Potential) Co-develop new test stations with fixture design team.

**Station Bring-up**
- Support mechanical OQC during the vendor design and build phase
- Verify mechanical functionality and maintenance of the test station
- Work with team to make station MIH, FBU and qualification plan/schedule. And follow plan to ensure the fixture readiness for the build
- FA and root cause fixture issues while simultaneously providing recommendations for mechanical design improvements
- Review station SOP documentation and provide input/feedback for mechanical content
- Evaluate station mechanical performance and provide summary of mechanical issues or recommended improvements
- Train and manage hand-off to CM ME
- Capable of sustaining the test station during engineering builds and to conduct DOEs to optimize station performance

**Mechanical Debug and Risk Assessment**
- Create Radars to track all mechanical design, de-bug and DFM issues with stations
- Report the following back to the Fixture Design Lead in real time
- Confirmation of IQC mechanical compliance
- Station bring-up, mechanical status and results
- Root cause investigation results with failure rate, symptoms
- Feedback and next steps for the system

**Reporting**
- Regular Weekly report needed each week by the ME or vendor PM
- Weekly Activity. Report to include:

- Summary of work completed
- Major accomplishments
- Support needed
- Summary of blocking items
- Major issues or concerns
- Frequent sync is needed when factory activities is heavy.

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
