**Technical Competencies**
- BIW tooling, Spot Welding, Arc Welding, Geo Fixtures, Grippers Design, Body Shop Process, System Layout / Plant Layout

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, Detailing and BOM Generation of Jig & Fixtures
- Coordinate with Inter Team and reporting
- Co-ordinate with Customer For Project delivery and Quality
- Daimler Project with toolkit Experience
- GM Project with KBTD experience

**Required Skills**:

- BIW Product / Process Structure development
- Weld Gun Selection / redesign, Weld points study and distribution check
- Preparation of Process Documentation
- Design of Geo, Re-Spot Fixtures, Grippers for Body Shop Application
- Onsite / Practical manufacturing experience are preferred
- Understanding the Manufacturing Process
- Design Knowledge in Machining / Assembly Fixtures
- Special Purpose Machine design / Automation design also preferred
- Selection of tools and standard parts for Jig & Fixture Design
- Design, Detailing and BOM Generation of Jig & Fixtures
- Preparing Design Validation Documents, Clamp Validations
- Selection of Materials and Heat Treatment Processes
- Selection of Machining Process, Surface Finish
- Selection of appropriate tolerances
- Familiar with OEM Standards like GM, BMW, VW, PSA etc.
- Familiar with UG NX with Tool Kits, or CATIA V5 or Inventor or Solid works
- Able to Prepare 3D and 2D Layouts using Factory CAD / MicroStation / AutoCAD
- Familiar with Plant / System Layout for VW / GM and other OEMs
