Scheduling and Demand Planner

We are searching for a talented scheduling and demand planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning and scheduling duties including estimating future operational capacity capabilities, scheduling sales and production orders, creating forecasting models and loading systemic demand, and analysing inventory flow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop an effective rolling forecast and capacity plan.
- Work cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance to lead the Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Successfully communicate capacity and inventory estimations to management.
- Create operational schedules across the operations department.
- Update dates on production and sales orders to ensure backlog demand is properly aligned with the installation plan.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting/master scheduling role.
- Experience with production planning/scheduling.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to support US working hours.

**Nice Haves**:

- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Quickbooks Enterprise) and Google Suite.
- Experience in a smaller company implementing a forecasting program, and scheduling processes.
- Experience working with SIOP (sales, inventory, and operational planning).
