Garment/Apparel is a leading player in the garment/apparel industry known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. We are seeking a dedicated R&D Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

**Job Summary**:
The R&D Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the quality assurance aspects of our research and development processes in garment and apparel production. This role will involve collaboration with design, production, and supply chain teams to develop and implement testing protocols, quality standards, and compliance measures that align with industry best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Standards Development**: Establish and maintain quality standards and testing protocols for new and existing garment/apparel products throughout the R&D process.
- **Product Testing**: Conduct thorough testing of fabrics, trims, and finished garments to evaluate quality attributes such as durability, colorfastness, shrinkage, and safety compliance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with product development and design teams to provide insights on material selection, construction techniques, and to address quality concerns during the design phase.
- **Data Analysis**: Analyze testing data and quality metrics to identify trends, resolve issues, and recommend design or process improvements.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, results, and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and guidance to R&D and production teams on quality assurance practices, updates, and best practices in garment manufacturing.
- **Supplier Evaluation**: Collaborate with supply chain teams to assess and monitor supplier quality performance and compliance with specifications.
- **Problem-Solving**: Coordinate quality investigations for any product quality issues that arise during the development phase, working to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of [3+] years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the garment/apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of têxtile properties, garment construction, and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Proficient in statistical analysis and quality management tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and compliance regulations in the apparel industry is a plus.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 per year
