MIS Executive in Manufacturing - Garments Industry

Job Description: MIS Executive - Manufacturing (Garments Industry)**Position Overview**:
The MIS (Management Information System) Executive will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing data to support the operations of the manufacturing and garments industry. This role requires expertise in data processing, reporting, and supporting decision-making through actionable insights. The MIS Executive will ensure that business operations are efficient and aligned with organizational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Management**:

- Collect, compile, and maintain data from various departments, including production, inventory, sales, and finance.
- Design and implement efficient data storage and retrieval systems.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, inventory, and sales performance.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to present key metrics and insights.
- Conduct variance analysis and highlight trends or areas of concern.
- **System Administration**:

- Manage and maintain MIS software and tools used in the organization.
- Coordinate with software vendors for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements.
- Support the automation of manual tasks through technological solutions.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production, procurement, quality control, and sales teams to understand data needs.
- Provide training to staff on using MIS tools and interpreting reports.
- **Compliance and Security**:

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting.
- Implement and monitor data security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 1-5 years of experience in an MIS role, preferably in the garments or manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and database management tools.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced level).
