**Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning**:

- Identify and source raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories as per production requirements.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships for cost-effective and quality procurement.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain issues.
- **Purchase Operations & Documentation**:

- Prepare purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and cost reconciliation.
- **Inventory Control & Cost Management**:

- Work closely with the warehouse team to track inventory levels and avoid stock shortages.
- Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement cost-saving measures in material sourcing and vendor selection.
- **Coordination with Other Departments**:

- Collaborate with production, quality control, and design teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide updates on material availability, lead times, and order statuses.
- Address any procurement-related challenges impacting production timelines.
- **Compliance & Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct quality checks on received materials to match specifications.

**Job Specifications:Qualifications & Skills Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Textile Technology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in purchase/procurement in the garment industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase-related software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple suppliers and maintain cost efficiency.
- Understanding of import/export procedures (if applicable).
