**Job Summary**:
The Safety Officer (Male) is responsible for monitoring and enforcing occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and regulations at the construction site. They play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors by identifying hazards, developing safety policies, and conducting training programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation, including permits and audit reports.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure all emergency equipment is available and functional.
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety policies.
- Work closely with project management and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the site-specific safety plan (SSSP).
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in external audits and inspections when required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with incident management software is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
