Designation : Safety Officer / EHS Officer

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in safety / Post Graduate Diploma in Fire and

Industrial Safety Management / Advanced Diploma in Fire & Industrial

Safety Management / Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering

Techniques / Diploma in Fire Engineering & Safety Management.

Experience : 10 Years.

Salary : 30K - 40K Per Month.

Shift : General

Gender : Male.

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner.

Location : Dharapuram, Tirupur.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- **Safety policies**Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe and compliant operation of the organization
- **Hazard identification**Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and assessing risks to health and safety
- **Safety training**Providing safety training and education to employees
- **Accident investigation**Investigating accidents and near misses, including determining the cause and what needs to be done to prevent similar incidents
- **Emergency management**Handling first-aid procedures, safety checks on equipment, and setting up and operating emergency equipment
- **Inspections**Conducting regular inspections at the workplace to ensure that safety measures are implemented
- **Reporting**Documenting incidents, analyzing them, and reporting occurrences
- **Communication**Communicating with employees, management, human resources, and external regulatory bodies to promote a culture of health and safety

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Proven experience as **safety officer**:

- In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
- Certificate in occupational health and safety
