**We are currently recruiting for a: Finance Controller in our office in Mumbai (Vikroli (W))**

**In this role, you will make an impact in our company by **being responsible for directing the accounting, payroll, and adjacent functions of the India finance organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States of America (GAAP) aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close and internal reporting processes.
- Develop and drive necessary financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that provide openness, transparency, and accountability, while also playing a leading role in directing change initiatives and process improvements.
- Responsible for financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX12), including ensuring the accuracy and timeliness around the financial reporting.
- Maintain effective systems and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GAAP requirements.
- Target 100% compliance with SOX controls for your country each year.
- Involvement in strategic initiatives of the Company, including acquisitions and divestitures, as required.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a strong, performance-oriented finance and accounting organization, capable of actively and effectively engaging and growing with the business.
- Ensure accuracy of the company's cash flow and collection of receivables.
- Managing the budgeting, forecasting process and variance analysis;
- Responsible for Direct and Indirect Tax compliance, reporting, returns and assessment;
- Process payroll timely and accurately with compliance of applicable labour laws;
- Accurate up-to-date standard costing with inventory valuation;
- Risk management including insurance;
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013 and secretarial matters.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Manage, direct, and mentor a staff of 5 employees.

**What you must have**:

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university is required and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is highly preferred.
- CA certification is required
- 3+ years' experience working as a controller in global manufacturing companies
- Excellent communication, writing, managerial, organizational and people skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% both domestic and international.
- Ability to work excess hours to deliver quarterly financials, budgets, etc. if needed.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred
- Prior experience in a fast paced, rapid change environment where priorities change regularly and where steady state is rarely achieved.
- And most importantly, must have unquestioned integrity and moral character and fit the high expectations of Thermon's culture, and its character.
