We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Theatre (OT) Technician to join our dynamic surgical team. The OT Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our operating theatres by providing technical support to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare operating theatres for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of surgeons and other team members.
- Set up and operate specialized surgical equipment, including anesthesia machines, surgical lights, and suction devices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient positioning as required.
- Handle specimens and samples with care, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the operating theatre, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the operating theatre.
- Participate in the maintenance and calibration of surgical equipment and instruments.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification or diploma in Surgical Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience working as an OT Technician in a hospital or surgical center preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
