**Urgently Required OT Technician at Sainath Hospital, Moshi.**
- Washing and cleaning of gloves, instruments, needles and syringes etc.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the dept. And dusting of issuing area, sterilization area.
- Messenger service to the wards and department.
- Supply of cylinders from gas room to wards and department.
- Report shortages etc.
- To be responsible that the theatre to which they are posted is in fit condition i.e. cleaned and sterilized.
- To assist OT technician in making position of the patient on the table.
- To assist doctor in starting I.V. drip.
- Packing of syringes, instruments and special trays.
- To change the gas cylinder.
- To ensure that anesthesia trolley has all the instruments. Equipment’s, drugs, syringes etc.
- To guide N/A in transfer of patient from OT table to trolley and to recovery room.
- To wash instruments, endotracheal tube etc. thoroughly as per instruction.
- To take universal precaution while handling soiled anesthesia instruments.
- Implementation of Policies and Procedures of the hospital. Participation in mock drills.
- All articles for sterilization by autoclaves have to brought from the respective department.
- Daily care of cleaning the sterilizer.
- Loading and unloading of the sterilizers, of setting up the articles at the proper place, to and from, clean work area to sterile storage area.
- Maintenance of complete records of sterilized material.
- Sharping and unlocking of needless, preparation of Pot. Dichromate sol.
- Diploma / Degree in OT Technology/ BSC in paramedical/ Certified OT course
- Experience
- 6 months to 5 years in ORTHO OT (Freshers applicable)
- Immediate joiner from nearby location are preferable
