**Role & responsibilities:

- **

**Knowledge of different variety of Chocolates.**
- **The assistant chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen standard recipes and procedure**:

- **Keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moments notice.**:

- **Ensure of safety and hygiene procedures being adhered to.**:

- **Indenting raw materials as per the production and requirement.**:

- **Checking the quality of received perishables.**:

- **Interacting with guest incase of some allergies or food complaints.**:

- **Food cost and wastage control.**:

- **Liaison between the junior staff and the Executive chef.**

**Must be BHM GraduateEnsuring food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking**
**techniques meet our standard guidelines.**
- **Strive continually for innovative, quality, value for money food which is presented and served in the most complimentary way.**:

- **Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines**
