Production Supervisor

**Position Title: Production Supervisor - Facade Industry (5 Years Experience)**

**Job Summary**:The Production Supervisor with 5 years of experience in the facade industry is responsible for leading and managing the manufacturing and production operations of building facades. This role involves overseeing a team, optimizing processes, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership and Management**:Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure high performance and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Delegate tasks, set goals, and monitor progress to achieve production targets.

**Production Planning and Scheduling**:Collaborate with production planners and project managers to develop production schedules that meet project deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project requirements.

**Quality Assurance**:Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure that facades meet design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests to identify and address any quality issues.

**Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement**:Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements within the production workflow.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.

**Resource Allocation and Management**:Manage and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure optimal utilization and timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure a consistent supply of materials and components.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of workplace safety among the production team.
Conduct regular safety training and promote safe work practices.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and logistics, to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
Provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and solutions to higher management and stakeholders.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, production reports, quality documentation, and inventory levels.

**Training and Development**:Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development within the production team.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team members' capabilities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management within the facade or construction industry.
- 5 years of minimum expertise in unitized glazing, with specific experience in the facade industry considered a strong asset.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing production teams.
- In-depth knowledge of facade manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced computer skills for data analysis, reporting, and project management software is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
