About SPOT
Spot Afterschool is an innovative and inclusive experiential school designed to empower
students through a unique pedagogical approach. At Spot, we believe in harnessing the power of
inner curiosity as a driving force for learning, with industrial experts serving as facilitators on the
journey of exploration. Our center fosters holistic development through hands-on experiences,
micro-entrepreneurship, and industry immersion.
Through collaboration, critical thinking, real-world problem-solving, design thinking, and
teamwork, students are immersed in practical learning scenarios that mirror the complexities of
the professional world. Our framework goes beyond traditional education, equipping students
with essential skills to thrive in the modern workforce.

To create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and develop their
inclusive, friendly, fun academic, social and employable skills.
Objective:
The objective of this assignment is to assess your marketing skills and knowledge fit for SPOT.
The assignment will focus on evaluating your ability to develop and execute marketing
strategies to promote SPOT and engage its target audience effectively.
Instructions:
Please complete the following tasks to the best of your ability. This assessment is designed to
give you an opportunity to showcase your marketing insights in a concise manner.
Section 1: Market Research
1. Based on your understanding, briefly describe the target audience for SPOT, including their
interests and needs.
2. Mention one direct competitor of Spot according to you, and provide a brief summary of their
marketing approach.
Section 2: Marketing Strategy
1. Outline a simple marketing strategy to attract potential students in and around Brookefield,
Whitefield and Marathalli areas.
2. State one clear marketing objective for this strategy.
3. Describe one marketing tactic you would use to achieve the stated objective.
Section 3: Content Creation
1. Create a sample social media post (text only) to promote SPOT and its mission.
2. Write a concise blog post (around 150 words) on the topic of “Future of work” to engage the
teen / parent audience.
Section 4: Branding and Messaging
1. Create a PPT to pitch SPOT to a school so that they enroll their students in SPOT'S
after-school program.
Section 5: Budget Allocation
1. Given a hypothetical budget of INR 20,000 for 30 days, allocate funds to different marketing

This assignment aims to assess your fundamental marketing knowledge and creative thinking in
the context of SPOT's goals as an organization in the learning space. Please be concise and
avoid lengthy explanations. Your original ideas and insights will be highly valued.
