Leverage your ability to step back from interface design to think through team member tasks or journeys in terms of structure and information architecture. You’ll advocate for consistency and restraint by actively utilizing and contributing to our design system.

You’ll partner and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of UX designers, UX writers, engineers, product managers, QA staff, accessibility consultants, data analysts and UX researchers. Through this partnership, you’ll learn to leverage data and learnings from team members insights to inform design decisions. You’ll participate in research and learn to conduct your own with leadership from our UX research team. You’ll partner with other teams across
Target (design systems, merchandising, pricing & promotions, stores, etc) to ensure cohesiveness throughout all internal tools in the enterprise.

**About you**:

- 2+ years’ experience in digital software product work, with user experience emphases in UX architecture, interaction design and/or visual design
- A portfolio featuring product design work
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools (such as Sketch and InVision)
- Basic knowledge of UX design best practices
- Awareness of data and research methodologies and ability to partner with research experts
- Demonstrated collaboration skills
- Able to work well in a large organization with many partners
