**ABOUT WARDEN**

Warden is an early-stage B2B SaaS startup, but not the boring kind. We're nimble and growing fast in the Shared Living space where we help co-living & student housing operators to automate and manage their properties.

We do this with a two-headed product - one complex admin panel used by property admins to manage hundreds of properties, and the other simpler resident app used by thousands of residents. The design of the software directly influences the lives and experiences of all the residents in our partner properties.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a founding product designer to join our team. We’re a highly skilled, self-learned bunch of young folks looking to create a Navy Seal team instead of an army.

As the founding designer, you’d be expected to spearhead design in all its glory, looking after the smallest of details to the biggest of decisions.

This would require you to take full ownership, study what has already been done, understand the market, craft an entire design system and develop future product designs.

You would have full control of your work, with no manager to supervise and complete freedom to fail. We would only judge you based on work product outcomes.

**COMPENSATION DETAILS**
- **Salary**: ₹50,000 - ₹70,000 per month
- **ESOPs**: To be decided post-probation
- **Work Mode**: Remote work with flexible hours
- **Probation**: 3 months with full benefits
- **Joining Date**: Immediate

The job will be completely remote during the probation period (3 Months). Post that we would prefer you be based out of Bangalore with hybrid work but it is not compulsory.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**

A. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum **2-3 years** of dedicated UI/UX or Product design experience
- Proven track record of shipping digital product designs.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams & clients

B. PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS
- End-to-end product design case studies
- Full-fledged User interface design systems
- Working Interactive prototypes
- Insights from user research and testing
- Mobile and web responsive designs
- Design process documentation

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**
- Figma (Advanced Level)
- Illustrator and Photoshop - Adobe Creative Suite (Intermediate Level)
- Wireframing & Prototyping tools (Beginner Level)
- Solid Experience in Developing Design Systems
- Experience in User Research & Usability Testing
- Knowledge of Design Documentation is preferred
- A degree in design or architecture related field is a bonus

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define design direction & product goals.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to Tech.
- Create wireframes & user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Join client meetings to understand requirements, gather insights & get feedback.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive design system and guidelines from scratch.
- Design sales and marketing-related collaterals based on brand guidelines.
- Establish and execute best practices and guidelines for company-wide collaterals.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity to complex design roadblocks.
- Document design decisions, changes & interactions based on insights and feedback.
- Maintain design versions and history for all collaterals and product designs.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
