Experience

2 - 5 years of experience in Research and development, Production and Quality control for Natural beauty/wellness products.

Sound knowledge of natural ingredients will be preferred. Willing to work independently is a must.

Skill and Qualification
- B.Tech / M.Tech in cosmetology / cosmetic science or Msc / Bsc in Cosmetology

**R&D and Production Chemist Job description and responsibilities**:

- Formulate and develop R&D batches according to marketing brief using only natural ingredients.
- Conduct in depth raw material research as per formulation requirements.
- Conduct product stability studies.
- Constantly evaluate competitor products and establish benchmark levels.
- Manage Production and quality control.
- Maintain FDA compliant books.
- Documentation for necessary product approvals, licenses and certifications.
- Send raw materials and finished goods to FDA approved public laboratory for testing and required follow ups
- In-house testing of raw materials and finished goods
- Maintaining the filing and record system of department, preparation of required SOP’s.
- Advising purchase of appropriate equipment, raw materials and machinery on a time to time basis.
