**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, pongal, biryani, and traditional South Indian curries.
- **Menu Planning**: Assist in planning and designing the menu, including daily specials, based on customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.
- **Ingredient Management**: Source, prepare, and manage fresh ingredients, including spices, vegetables, and grains, while ensuring quality and consistency.
- **Cooking Standards**: Maintain high standards of food taste, quality, and hygiene in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- **Time Management**: Prepare and serve dishes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and adhere to safety regulations and health standards at all times.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other chefs, kitchen staff, and management to deliver excellent dining experiences.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Adapt dishes based on customer preferences or special dietary requirements, ensuring satisfaction.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a **South Indian Cook** or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- In-depth knowledge of authentic **South Indian cuisine** and traditional cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare dishes like dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and more.
- Expertise in handling South Indian spices and ingredients.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum of **2-5 years** of experience in preparing South Indian dishes.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory.

**Working Conditions**
