**Job description**

**1. Timely forecasting of monthly, quarterly, and annual results and analysis of the financial**

**performance of the organisation as a whole.**

**2. Manage and analyse budgets and create financial predictions - End to end budgeting**

**process including annual budgeting and monthly payment budgeting, along with budget**

**analysis.**

**3. Conduct risk management and ensure implementation of adequate internal controls.**

**4. Perform return on investment / cost benefit analysis / feasibility analysis and advice on**

**investment activities.**

**5. Manage Cash flow and oversee Treasury related activities including funding options, cash**

**forecasting etc.**

**6. Establishment and enforcement of proper accounting methods, policies, and principles;**

**and management / supervision of a team of accountants performing daily accounting**

**activities such as**:
**-Accounts payable/receivable**

**-Payments - Vendors, Utilities, Statutory, Payroll etc.**

**-Revenue Accounting**

**-Cash receipts (Cash reconciliation and MIS)**

**-Petty Cash Management**

**-Bank Reconciliations**

**-General ledger**

**-Payroll Analysis**

**-Revenue and expenditure variance analysis**

**-Fixed Asset activity (Register included)**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**-Fixed assets reconciliations**

**-Month and end-year activities**

**-Check runs**

**-Debt activity**

**-Statutory Payment - GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and others as applicable**

**-Documentation and recording.**

**7. Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements in a**

**timely manner. Conduct timely profit and cost analyse and recommend cost reduction**

**strategies.**

**8. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.**

**9. Track and manage statutory compliance, contracts, and licensing requirements.**

**10. Present periodic management information reports and offer related financial advice.**

**11. Coordinate with external auditors for interim and annual audits.**

**12. Maintain a working knowledge of financial laws, norms, and guidelines, as well as**

**organizational policies.**

**WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**

**1. Proven experience as Finance controller / Head of Finance and Accounts or a similar**

**position.**

**2. First hand experience in performing internal audit of companies in India.**

**3. In-depth understanding of the nuances of restaurant business.**

**4. Solid understanding of finance management and accounting.**

**5. Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.**

**6. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws,**

**and regulations**

**7. Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software and databases (Tally).**

**8. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.**

**9. Effective leadership qualities, communication skills and time management skills.**

**10. Flexibility and ability to work effectively with tight timelines.**

**11. Ability to alter priorities in a dynamic environment.**
