**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of this role is to to strengthen the existing Financial Operations and implement better control and checks in accounting practices.

The broad scope of this assignment is detailed below.

1. Study the Current Process in Finance & Business Operations

The first step will be to assess the “As Is” process particularly, in Finance Operations and give opinions for further strengthening the internal controls and list down other improvement areas. This includes various areas in Finance like
- Billing
- Collection
- Payables
- Taxation
- Reporting, etc.

Subsequently, the threads from other functional processes impacting Finance or Business Operations can be looked into and implement robust controls, if needed.

2. Documentation of existing key processes and arrive suggestive actions

Documentation of existing key processes is required to be done to make it a repository of reference for new joiners, while documenting, modifications can be considered for,
- Implementing automations
- Introducing new management dashboards
- Bringing in new internal controls
- Reducing unproductive tasks, etc.

The overall way forward can be discussed and implemented for bringing more efficiency in the system.

3. Designing New Management P&L

At present, the Accounts team export the P&L from Tally ERP after passing all monthly accounting entries. Based on this, prepare a Management P&L for analysing revenue and cost in a detailed manner for the Management to get a bird’s eye view of monthly business performance and also to evaluate optimizing cost.

4. Preparation of Cash Flow Statement

Prepare a Cash Flow Statement to assess our inflows against our revenues booked and outflows against our accrued expenses. And create a fund projection model to meet monthly fixed costs.

5. Cost Analysis

Create a Cost analysis model base on the P&L to review each cost line items and review optimization opportunities.

6. Overall Supervision of F&A function

Provide overall supervisory oversight and guidance to current finance team to make them more professional in their approach, to make the current activities under robust control and build better controls over weak areas in finance operations.

7. Management Support in terms of Finance & Business Operations

Based on monthly analysis of business performance with the help of P&L, create monthly discussion points, with the Management and table down the suggestive actions for taking the business northwards.

8. Creation of in-house capability and capacity for independent Financial Operations Identify the resource dimensioning and competency levels to manage the Financial Operations as detailed above, and create that capacity within Hexanet. Identify and recruit a leadership resource, groom him/her in the role and handover the responsibilities to the new leadership within Six months after appointment

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
