**What does it mean to be a Database Administrator at ZeroNorth**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Install, configure and maintain cassandra, datastax astra, snowflake, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Resolve performance issues by optimizing performance with partitioning, indexing, and caching.
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Comply with regulations by ensuring data security with access controls and encryption
- Collaborate on scalable database solutions and manage data migrations.
- Automate maintenance tasks and develop scripts for monitoring and backups.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot database issues.

**Key required qualifications**:

- Min of 3-5 years DBA experience with cassandra, datastax astra, and noSQL databases with scripting skills (python)for automation is a must.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, backup, recovery, and cloud databases.
- Soft skills: problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities
