Role: SQL Database Administrator

Location: Tata Ramanujan Intellion Park, Chennai.

Full-time permanent role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, install, and maintain robust SQL databases in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Oversee database performance tuning, security management, and data backups.
- Implement and maintain database security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Plan and implement migrations and upgrades while ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Develop documentation for database configurations, processes, and maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with developers and IT personnel to develop and support database solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server administration and database performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of database security principles and backup/recovery strategies.
- Experience with SQL scripting and automated task solutions.
- Knowledge of industry regulations regarding data handling.
- Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS, Azure) or virtualization.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) are a plus.
