Assists the Senior Chef in developing standardized recipes by conducting yield tests and innovating new dishes and new styles of presentations and duty roasters

Interacts with the outlet guests on a regular basis by suggesting the dishes to them and getting their valuable feedback

To checks on every food order, which is executed from the kitchen for correct plate presentations, portion size, taste and garnish

Works as a team hands on with his co-workers in his and other departments also

Responsible for proper recycling procedures in the kitchen are followed viz.
- Segregation of garbage
- Handling of leftovers

Contributes in maintaining the food cost by keeping a tight control on pilferages, over production, wastage due to negligence and improper planing

To handle conflicts at junior staff levels by counseling them
