Role Purpose:
To lead and manage the press shop moulding operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, machine efficiency, and workforce discipline while driving continuous improvement in processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise daily production activities in the press shop (moulding section).

Ensure optimal utilization of machines, moulds/dies, and manpower to achieve production schedules.

Manage tool and die/mould changeovers, ensuring minimum downtime.

Monitor production quality and ensure adherence to customer and ISO/IATF standards.

Maintain records of OEE, rejections, downtime, and production reports.

Coordinate with maintenance, tool room, and quality teams for issue resolution.

Train and guide operators on machine handling, safety, and best practices.

Ensure strict compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards.

Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and wastage control initiatives.

Support audits, inspections, and customer visits related to the press shop

Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of press shop operations, moulding processes, tools & dies.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Hands-on knowledge of production planning, quality tools, SPC, and problem-solving techniques.

Good leadership, team management, and communication skills.

Focused on continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement.

Qualification & Experience: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in press shop/moulding operations, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. Preferably from automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
