**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated **Accounting Intern** to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, working alongside senior professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills in preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Help manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Perform variance analysis to identify financial trends, deviations, and provide actionable insights.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Help ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior analysts and finance teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory
