As a Trading Services Associate I, you will spend each day in executing OTC Trade Confirmations (Paper + Electronic) with the clients in a timely manner to enhance client experience and meeting regulatory requirements. You are required to understand the fundamentals of the product and underlying instruments and be involved in business strategies to drive process efficiencies. You will also be responsible to team governance and ensure all controls are executed as per SLA

**Responsibilities**:

- Affirmation of Equities Derivative Trades (Paper + Electronic) & Legal confirmations with understanding of legal aspects relating to Derivatives confirmations.
- Drive Efficiencies by identifying & implementing Strategic & Tactical solutions in partnership with internal / external stakeholders
- Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture
- Identify opportunities to onboard client on electronic platform (MarkitWire)
- Timely escalation of unissued/unexecuted trade documents.
- Building and sustaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ensuring all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner as per Business Standards.
- Work closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’
- Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis
- Clear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

- Preferred experience in middle or back office operations of Derivatives
- Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams
- Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate
- Attention to details and sense of ownership
- Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment
- Possess strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Excellent client focus mindset as part of client facing team

**Skills and Qualifications**
- ISDA knowledge and Equity Derivatives Product knowledge is preferable
- The individual must be able to: handle a high level of complexity in their product coverage, be able to shift gears with relative ease, be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities and be comfortable dealing with a stressful and fast paced Trading environment.
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc.)
