Job Description

The primary role of a Confirmations Analyst involves timely and accurate generation of trade confirmations for Fixed Income Derivatives products, providing critical documentation support to Institutional Sales and Trading, and Bank Resource Management on ad hoc deals and projects.

In this position, you will be expected to develop into a Subject Matter Expert in your function, providing support to the wider group. This includes conducting research and resolving confirmation discrepancies through proactive communication with internal partners and external counterparties.

You will also identify potential risk issues, escalating them where necessary, and actively assist in their resolution. Furthermore, you will analyze current processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies, implementing stringent process controls to mitigate firm and client risk.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 1+ years Banking Operations or equivalent relevant industry experience, as well as a basic working knowledge of ISDA definitions. You should also have an understanding of the basic lifecycle of OTC products, along with strong analytical, organizational, and verbal & written communication skills.
