**Responsibilities**:

- **Individual Counseling**:

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to address personal, social, academic, and emotional concerns.
- Assist students in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Provide support and guidance to students facing challenges such as academic underachievement, behavioral issues, family problems, or peer conflicts.
- **Group Counseling**:

- Facilitate group counseling sessions on topics such as anger management, bullying prevention, study skills, and social skills development.
- Create and implement support groups for students dealing with common issues or shared experiences.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for group discussions and activities.
- **Career Counseling**:

- Help students explore career interests, strengths, and goals through assessments and discussions.
- Provide information about career options, educational pathways, and vocational training opportunities.
- Assist students in developing career plans, setting realistic goals, and making informed decisions about their future.
- **Academic Support**:

- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify students who may need academic intervention or support.
- Develop academic improvement plans and strategies
- Monitor students' academic progress
- **Crisis Intervention**:

- Respond to crises or emergencies involving students.
- Work closely with school staff, parents, and community agencies to ensure students' safety and well-being.
- **Consultation and Collaboration**:

- Consult with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to address student concerns and develop intervention plans.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to support their children's academic and emotional needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and ethical guidelines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and addressing a range of issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards of conduct

**Minimum Experience of minimum 1 year required**

**Gender**: Female.
