Job Description: System Administrator

**Location**: Bangalore
**Type**: Full-time (Residential)

**Key Responsibilities**
- **System and Network Maintenance**:

- Manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and devices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure mínimal downtime.
- **User Support**:

- Provide technical support to staff, faculty, and students for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct training sessions to improve IT literacy among users.
- **Data Security and Backup**:

- Ensure data security through regular updates, patches, and firewall maintenance.
- Manage data backup and disaster recovery systems effectively.
- **Software and Hardware Management**:

- Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely upgrades or replacements.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in system administration or a related role.
- Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and network configurations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience working in an educational or residential institution is preferred.
