**Job Description of Purchase Assistant**

**Whom do we seek**

**We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive responsible for engaging with key Vendors and supplier in building, nurturing and preserving lasting relationships including but not limited to the following.**

**1. Ability to established systems and prepare stock requirement of the plant.**

**2. Accountable for Planning the material based on consumption pattern plant requirement and issuing order to the vendor.**

**3. Processing the order to vendor for the raw materials required.**

**4. Closely coordination with the suppliers to ensure the material reaches the plant.**

5. Negotiate finer trade terms.

6. Coordinating with the vendors and ensuring timely payment for them.

7. Ensuring timely GRN entry & invoice bookings for the appropriate procurement cycle.

8. Active participation in price negotiation with the vendors and with senior management. Monitoring market price trends for critical & high value products, getting best possible rates.

9. Instrumental in raising claims for shortage, damage, price difference and wrong parts to principles and follow up for credit notes and payments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Purchases related to inputs of required RM for resin manufacturing unit.

2) Vendor development

3) Well versed with ERP

4) Drawing up regular MIS

5) Experience 3 to 5 years in chemical group

6) Salary : Best as per industry standards

**Key attributes of Purchase Executive**:
**Ø A bachelor’s degree Chemistry, Paints, Surface coatings, Speciality chemicals.**

**Ø A minimum of 3 years’ experience.**

**Ø Excellent control over verbal and written communications.**

**Ø Superior product knowledge particularly in Chemical or downstream petroleum products.**

**Ø A team player with leadership skills.**

**Ø Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.**

**Ø Demonstrated ability in implementing cost saving measures to achieve reduction or rejection of raw materials / services**

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
