Rolling Mill Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:

- Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
- Analyze production requirements and create plans for raw material needs based on forecasted demand.

Raw Material Sizing:

- Determine and size raw material requirements for production processes.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure availability of materials as per production schedules.

Quality Control Coordination:

- Work closely with Quality Control (QC) teams to perform checks for defects during production.
- Implement corrective actions and improve processes based on QC findings to enhance product quality

Recording Production Parameters:

- Monitor and record essential production parameters; analyze data for trends and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify areas for continuous improvement in production processes, material handling, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Reporting:

- Prepare and present regular production reports, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Document all processes, changes, and production activities for internal tracking and compliance.

Knowledge:

- Knowledge of mechanical and metallurgical testing of steel rolled products. Dimensional and surface inspection of product on line during rolling.

Qualifications:

- Degree / Diploma in mechanical / metallurgical engineering.
- Proven experience in production planning and control within manufacturing environments, preferably in the steel or alloys sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
