**Certification**: CCNA

❖ Installation and Maintenance: Lead the installation, termination, and testing of copper

and fiber cabling systems, including cable pulling, termination, and labelling.

❖ Cabling Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with clients and project managers to design

structured cabling systems that meet industry standards and client requirements.

❖ Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to junior cabling technicians, ensuring

work is completed according to best practices and within project timelines.

❖ Testing and Certification: Conduct thorough testing and certification of cabling

installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

❖ Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cabling issues, including identifying and fixing

cable faults, signal degradation, and connectivity problems.

❖ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cabling installations, labelling, test

results, and as-built documentation.

❖ Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control processes to deliver reliable

and error-free cabling solutions.

❖ Project Management: Assist in project planning, including estimating materials and

labour requirements, and track project progress to meet deadlines.

❖ Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to

maintain a safe working environment.

**Skills & Abilities**:
❖ Need a knowledge about structured cabling installation, termination, and maintenance.

❖ Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (e.g., ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801) and

best practices.

❖ Proficiency in using cabling and network testing equipment (e.g., cable testers, OTDR, fiber

optic splicing tools).

❖ Industry certifications such as BICSI RCDD, BICSI Technician, or CompTIA Network+ are

preferred.

❖ Leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior

technicians.

❖ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

❖ Strong organizational and documentation skills.

❖ Familiarity with relevant software tools for cabling design and documentation.

❖ Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in various environments (offices, data centers, construction

sites)
- Capable of climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
