**A Meghalaya-based Ferro Alloy Manufacturing Company is looking for an Insurance Officer / Executive for its Head Office in Guwahati, Assam.**

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Prepare and maintain a list of all Insurance policies of Plant and Machinery, Vehicles, Group Health, Fire Policy, Machinery Breakdown, Marine Policy, etc with relevant details such as Date, Policy No, Premium, Insurer, Expiry Date, Contact person, etc in Google Sheet
- Make a comparison of Insurance quotations for any new policy that is to be made
- Read the insurance quotes thoroughly for all policy wordings for any potential risks and make notes accordingly for management approvals
- Prepare and file FIRs as required for any insurance claims
- Co-ordinate between all concerned parties for speedy disbursement of Insurance Claims
- Prepare and assist lawyers in filing court cases for rejected claims by Insurers.
- Attend Court hearings concerning insurance cases relevant to the company
- Raise complaints with the Ombudsman and IRDA as and when required
- Any other assignments directly or indirectly related to Insurance

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance Field
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Law, business, finance, or a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and insurance regulations.
- Good comprehension skills
- Good oral and written communication skills are very important
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

**Salary-**

Rs. 20,000/- to 40,000/
