**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**
- Assist the Senior Manager, Employee Relations in addressing and resolving complex employee matters with professionalism
- Draft, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and alignment with company culture and values
- Being the first point of contact for ER matters on the site taking enquires and directing people as appropriate
- Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to ER cases in accordance with legal and internal standards
- Conduct employment law research to support internal policy decisions and ER case management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective communication and implementation of HR policies across departments
- Partner with Learning & Development and ER teams to support and co-facilitate employee relations training and policy awareness programs
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion
- Comfortable in picking up occasional employee investigations under the support of the ER management team

**TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2 - 3 years of experience in any Human Resources role. Employee Relations experience would be an added advantage.
- Reasonable understanding of HR policies, workplace practices, understanding of employment law is desirable
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Keen to develop and build an ER careerReasonable knowledge of MS Office
