- Examines the patient and takes the history of the patient.
- Tests the status of the disability of the patient.

**2.Performs occupational therapy exercises on patients**

**For OPD patients:

- **
- Provides occupational therapy on the patient and explains about home care program For IPD patients
- Ascertains the precautions that must be observed while providing occupational therapy
- Ascertains whether the patient is still attached to any infusions or IV drips.
- Adjusts the height of the physical aids being used.
- Checks the posture of the patient during the exercise.
- Strives towards limiting dependence of the patient on others and physical aids.
- Briefs the full team about the progress of the patient.
- Provides home care to patients.

- Ensures the maintenance of all the equipments.
- Informs the Biomedical Engineer in case of any breakdown.
- Sends indents to the medical store for material like knee braces, etc.

- Maintains Fall Risk Protocol
- Uses chairs with arm rests for the exercises with the patients.
- Ensures correct positioning of the calling bell.
- Explains the patient about wheel chair transfers.

- Informs the patients and their attendants about all precautions that will have to be followed.
- Guides the patient's attendant about home modification and modification at the work place which is required

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
