**Job description**

**Role & responsibilities**

Tasks vary depending on your area of specialism. For example, clinical scientists working in microbiology will be involved in preventing, diagnosing and controlling the spread of infections, whereas those working in manufacturing may be involved in quality control, checking for signs of contamination.

Depending on your area of expertise, you'll typically need to:

- You shall look after the various technical aspects of the laboratory, such as timely calibration of the various instruments installed, running off the controls to ensure accurate results of the samples tested, and daily maintenance of the machines for which the concerned engineer is to be contacted on need basis.
- Complete all of the routine tasks that have been allocated.
- Compliance with laboratory safety protocols in chemical and microbiological laboratories.
- To take charge as Technical and Administrative head of Lab.
- Retaining paperwork and records as required by the lab analysis.
- You shall strictly monitor the Quality control of all tests conducted.
- Ensure accurate testing, validation, timely release of reports, and efficient inventory control.
- Providing guidance to the Technicians and other staff members of the Lab.
- Review the audit documentation and check that they are completed.
- Monitor and identify microorganisms
- Track microorganisms in a range of environments
- Monitor and assess samples from a range of sources
- Follow regular sampling schedules within a specific environment
- Use a variety of identification methods, including molecular techniques, to test samples
- Develop new techniques, products and processes
- Develop and plan methods to prevent the spread of disease
- Develop and register new medicines, vaccines, diagnostic tests and pharmaceutical products
- Plan, implement and evaluate new products in clinical trials
- Collect samples from different types of environments
- Develop products such as enzymes, vitamins, hormones and antimicrobials
- Manage and oversee laboratory work.
- Minimum Years: 2-3 years
- Industry/ Sector: Pharmaceutical / Formulation
- Microbiological activities handled:

- Complete understanding of spectrophotometry measurements.
- Method optimization, validation, and verification knowledge is necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
