Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Microbiologist to join our Quality & Laboratory team at Amoya Agrifood. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to microbiological testing in the Dairy or Beverages industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine microbiological analysis of dairy and beverage products
  • Perform media preparation, sterilization, and inoculation procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory documentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI, GMP)
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment properly
  • Work collaboratively with QA/QC team for product quality improvement
  • Follow SOPs and reporting protocols diligently

Key Skills Required

  • Dairy/Beverage microbiology testing
  • Basic lab techniques, sample handling & documentation
  • Knowledge of sterilization & aseptic practices
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Good communication skills

Educational Qualification

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Technology or related field
