**Role Summary - Purchase Supervisor**

The Purchase Manager will oversee the procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services. The role involves building strong supplier relationships, optimizing procurement strategies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgets.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Procurement Planning and Strategy**

Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet production and business needs.

Analyze market trends and forecast material requirements.

Create annual budgets and ensure adherence.

**Supplier Management**

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers.

Establish and maintain long-term supplier relationships.

Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.

**Purchase Operations**

Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Resolve any supply-related issues, delays, or quality discrepancies.

**Cost Control and Optimization**

Conduct price comparisons and negotiate favorable terms.

Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Monitor and report on procurement expenditures.

**Compliance and Documentation**

Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.

Conduct regular audits of procurement processes.

**Team Management**

Lead and mentor the procurement team.

Delegate tasks effectively and ensure skill development within the team.

**Collaboration and Reporting**

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and quality control.

Provide regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and supplier metrics to senior management.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

**Skills**

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Excellent knowledge of procurement software and systems.

Proficient in inventory management and demand forecasting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
