Minimum Education Qualification and Work Experience:
Teaching and Examination
- Undertake research-led teaching at different levels of undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes
- Proactively respond to student concerns and queries (within and outside the classroom)
- maintain office hours on a weekly basis
- Design, develop and offer modules/electives within your area of expertise
- Play a significant role in reviewing course outline and ensure teaching quality among co-faculty
- Develop innovative approaches to learning and provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations
- Supervise students undertaking research projects as appropriate
- Develop and deliver course material, curricula and syllabi
- Assess, review and evaluate student activities and progress
- Proactively employ the highest quality standards for teaching-learning as benchmarked by the University

Research and Consultancy:

- Publish quality research papers and articles in journals of national and international repute
- Publish articles and books with reputed publishers
- Undertake sponsored research projects and consultancy from funding agencies and industry

Academic Administration:

- Contribute to developing academic policies of the University
- Coach, advise and mentor teaching assistants, and colleagues
- Active participation in faculty and departmental meetings
- Support Office of Admissions in selecting quality students for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Fellowship Programmes
- Collaborate with expert speakers and organise guest seminars and faculty events
- Assist in various departmental duties and support Dean/Director of the School in their day-to-day academic activities and functions
- Invigilate examinations/assessments/juries
